Is it safe for my students?

ClassChatter.com is built around student safety. No personal student information is ever collected which means that student information can never be compromised. However, your information is just as important. At ClassChatter.com we will never sell or give out your information to any third party. We don't spam and collect no sensitive information.

Why is it free?

ClassChatter does not yet support uploading of images or sound files. This keeps my costs low. As a full time teacher, ClassChatter also acts as a professional development tool for myself. I will never allow ads to be shown to students on this site. If you wish to support the site monetarily we do accept donations through PayPal. These donations go to help fund the server and software costs associated with running the site.

Can I put pictures on my blogs or homepage?

In order to keep our server costs low ClassChatter does not yet support the uploading of images. However, ClassChatter fully supports adding images that are stored offsite to your posts and homepages. We recommend using PicOodle, which provides free image hosting to get your pictures online.

Can I add mp3's or podcast to my blog?

In order to keep our server costs low, ClassChatter does not yet allow for the uploading of sound files. This feature is often requested and we are working on a solution.

I have found a typo (or bug, spelling mistake, etc) on your site, what’s the deal?

I am a full time elementary and middle school teacher in graduate school, I am doing my best to provide a service to my fellow teacher’s around the world. If you find any errors or bugs, please go to the contact page and report it. With your help we can make this site a truly polished tool for teachers and students.

Can I donate to the site?

Why, yes you can. You can donate any amount through this paypal link. These donations go to help fund the server and software costs associated with running the site.

Can I advertise on your site?

We are now offering limited ad space on the Teacher’s Portion of the website. For more details please go to this page. However, no advertising of any kind will be placed where students can access it. Sorry.
